Hello there,
well my name is Yannick Van Broeck and i am a 26 year old Belgian. My main language is dutch and apart from that i speak fluent english. But as you can tell by me writing this message in english i'm not that great in French
i've been racing all kinds of racing simulators for a major part of my life. Grand Prix series, GTR, GTR2, Nascar Racing 2003. Ovals catch my attention the most because of the close finishes and hard agressive but fair racing.
I made a post at the iRacing forums and someone over there and Nicholas Husson directed met to i-FRN
i hope the not french speaking part won't be an issue in me eventually joining the league. I've no problem reading the language, it's the listening and creating my own sentences thats the problem
My main interest is driving the A class oval car, most of my time i spent driving the Nationwide car but i have no problem making the transition to the grand stage
Hope to hear from you guys and see you folks on track
Cheerio!

Hi Yannick and welcome on this forum
How it could be possible that a belgium guy can't speak french... I thought we were the only ones not to be good at others languages
Anyway this may be difficult if you can't understand listening french since that's the way indications are given in races...

in any case, listening to instructions won't be that big an issue. I'm a fast learner in that regard. The only big problem is having conversations I'm really willing to give this a go, and we'll find out rather fast if i'm able to learn those instructions

one man practicing sportsmanship is far better than a hundred teaching it.
